Permission Slip Policy
Please keep in mind the following Troop 380 procedures for the handling of permission slips. Failure to follow these procedures could result in a scout not being able to attend a campout or activity.
• Permission and Fees are due ON the date printed on the permission slip.
• Please submit a check rather than cash (if possible) in order to simplify our accounting process.
• If you have two scouts in the troop, submit 2 permissions slips. (One check is okay)
• Each scout should turn in his permission slip and check to his Patrol Scribe at the beginning of a troop meeting.
• Each Patrol Scribe collects all permission slips and checks from his patrol and turns them into the Troop Scribe. The Troop Scribe works with the Activities Coordinator to prepare the participation information.
• Parents should NOT turn in the permission slip and check directly to the Activities Coordinator.
• DO NOT give permission slips to other members of Troop 380 -- Executive Committee members, Scoutmasters or Assistant Scoutmasters.
If a scout will not be at the troop meeting to turn in a permission slip and check, please contact the Activities Coordinator to make other arrangements.
